A surprising decision
On the 10th of December Fran announced that he wants to leave VfB Dresden because he wants to start a career as a club manager. Vic, the owner of Dresden, wasn't satisfied with his decision but had to let him go to avoid any legal consequences for him and his team. Fran has stated that if he isn't let go from VfB Dresden he won't attend matches as a form of protest. Fortunately, this is now impossible due to the new Club Rulebook announced yesterday shortly after the news spread.

Double kill
We call this a double kill because Sviola, the closest to Fran in BF, has decided to leave with him too. He actually left without publicly announcing about three days ago due to other instabilities in Dresden but he has confirmed that he will not return after the official announcement that Dresden is back in the new BF. Fran and Sviola were the so called ''legends'' of Dresden and it is unfortunate to see how their relationship with the team and manager has ended.
What to expect from Dresden?
Dresden is in a really risky and bad situation at the moment. They don't have many players and have no other staff than the manager himself. We cannot judge yet but we do not prognose a good season for Dresden.
